Shipping and Delivery Policy
1. Delivery area
Eurocontex delivers containers to all member states of the European Union and to countries bordering the European Economic Area (EEA). For deliveries outside the EU, please contact us directly at contact@eurocontex.com.
2. Delivery times
The following are the indicative delivery times, subject to stock availability and access conditions to the delivery site:
• Standard containers in stock: 3 to 10 business days depending on the destination
• Containers made to order or with special fittings: 15 to 45 working days
• Urgent deliveries: possible under certain conditions and with an additional charge
These delivery times begin from the date of order confirmation and full payment (or the required deposit). Eurocontex cannot be held responsible for delays due to exceptional circumstances (strikes, extreme weather conditions, force majeure).
3. Delivery costs
Delivery charges are calculated based on distance, container type, chosen transport method, and site access conditions. A detailed quote is provided upon ordering. Any delivery requiring specialized equipment (crane, articulated flatbed truck, etc.) will be billed separately.
4. Delivery conditions
The customer is responsible for ensuring that the delivery site is accessible and that the dimensions and load-bearing capacity of the road are compatible with the delivery vehicles. If delivery is impossible due to the customer's fault (impossible access, absence, etc.), the customer will be responsible for the return and redelivery costs.
5. Reception and verification
Upon delivery, the customer must check the condition of the container in the presence of the carrier. Any reservations must be noted on the delivery slip and confirmed by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt (or email with read receipt) to Eurocontex within 3 business days of delivery, otherwise the claim will be forfeited.
6. Risk Transfer
The risk of loss or damage is transferred to the customer upon delivery. The customer is advised to insure the container immediately upon delivery.
